What a glorious time of year all the beautiful flowers popping up every where in every imaginable colour shape and fragrance. I remind myself (as I enjoy the warmth and the sunshine) that upper respiratory irritation, water itchy eyes and a nose that is clogged one minute and dripping the next is a small price to pay for all the joy that this season brings.

Just think of the donkey stuck in the well
Don't let their junk make a heap
Just draw in a deep breath
Then count slowly to ten
Shake off their words with great might
With resolve in your spirit and a song on your lips
NEVER draw back from the fight
Be like the donkey...

How glorious is the splendor of Autumn~Displaying the elegant beauty of eminent change~Listen closely and you will hear the whisper of the branches~A sign that the days of surrender are at hand ~The seasons tell the story over and over again~Never tiring to repeat the age old tale to the generations year after year~What lessons we can learn as creation sings forth the message of the one who never changes~In the midst of an ever changing world~Stand back and observe the magnificence of the Creator~Look deeply and listen intently

RE-MEMEBER NEVER FORGET

Lately I have been thinking about the suffix "RE". Two single letters 'R' and 'E' before a word. However those two little letters have great meaning. They mean, to do something over again. When I was a little girl I remember playing games and when someone lost. Or they did not do as well as they would have liked to do in the game, they would ask for a 'do over'. Meaning they wanted to 're' do what ever task they were doing. In life many times I have wanted a 'do over'. Sadly enough though there are many things that we can not 're' do. At least not in the natural sense of the word. We can not 're'move a permanent scar left by our words or actions, or 're'live a moment gone by or even 're'gain the years that were wasted. Yet the Lord said, that as impossible as it is may be for a 'camel' to go through the eye of a needle...nothing is impossible with Him. Matthew 19:26 He can 're'new our strength like the eagle Isaiah 40:31 and 're'veal His awesome power to us and through us as we trust in His word Deuteronomy 29:29 He will 're'joy-ce over us with singing, thus turning our mourning into gladness. Psalm 30:11 So let us the 'RE'Deemed of the Lord say so Isaiah 51:51 As we 'RE' MEMBER Him in our day to day lives He will 'RE' MOVE our sins (mistakes, short comings and just plain blunders) as far from us as the east is from the west. Genesis 12:8 One of my favourite old hymns is "Revive Us Oh Lord". I hope that as you read these words you will 're'minisce about God and His goodness to you. That is what Jesus asked us to do before He left this planet. He said to "do this in re-memberance of me" Luke 22:19 If you have never done that before I hope you will take the time to 're'ad (read) His love letters to you (The Bible) and allow him to 're'vive you. In essence that is what salvation is; God giving us our life back. The life stolen through the effects of original sin Romans 5:12 {Death came upon all men for all have sinned} That is why Jesus said "you must be born again/'re-born' John 3:7 So please join me as I 'Re-member' what God has done and 're-joy'-ce with me. 'Remembering' that 'joy' is not contingent upon how we feel or what is 'happening' to us or in us. Joy is a gift. Happiness, like it's root (Happy) denotes that it is dependent on what is 'happening' or has 'happened'. So as I like to say: if you must "have your emotion, have it, just don't let your emotion have you". Just 'remember' to put on joy just like you put on your clothes each day and 're-main' steadfast in the Lord and He will 'RE'new a right spirit within you Psalm 51:10

A glimpse into the window of my soul

Hi everyone,
My blog name is "Warroya" This is the name that I felt the Lord gave me 2years ago as my life finally moved into a realm of victory vs. vicitim. When you say it fast you hear the "Warrior" in the Roya. My give name is Soroya and I am the mother of 4 wonderful sons and a most awesome English husband. I love to play with anything that is of a creative nature. Built up art using found materials is one of my most favorite things to do. As the saying goes one mans trash is another mans... "Well you know the saying"
My other passion is writing and as the days go by I will be sharing with you some of my heart utterances.
